ESG
Sustainability is no longer just a trend, but a corporate responsibility and a strategic necessity. At rewa Planungsgesellschaft mbH, we are committed to sustainable architecture and engineering design to harmonize environmental, social, and economic aspects. Environmental, Social & Governance (ESG) principles form the framework for our actions. From resource-efficient construction methods and social responsibility to transparent and ethical corporate structures—we design sustainable living spaces that meet the needs of both current and future generations.

Online Appointment
Due to ongoing digitalization, the number of in-person meetings has decreased dramatically in recent years. The majority of project meetings now take place digitally. On the one hand, this leads to reduced emissions due to fewer car trips; on the other hand, it saves employees a tremendous amount of time.
Paperless Office and Digitization
We have significantly digitized the company in recent years. Our processes are now virtually paperless. In addition, employees have the technical capability to work from home.
Professional Development and Memberships
We are members of buildingSMART Germany and the German Sustainable Building Council (DGNB). Our employees regularly participate in continuing education programs—including training to become DGNB consultants, openBIM professionals, and specialists in fire safety plans—to enhance professional expertise and sustainability in our projects.
Planting Campaigns
Under the motto “Forest Instead of Desert,” we partnered with the Forest for Saxony Foundation to carry out two reforestation projects, planting a total of 2,500 trees and 200 shrubs. With donations totaling €16,500, we are also ensuring the maintenance and protection of these forest areas for five years each—an active contribution to regional climate protection.
Fleet Management
We have a total of 29 company cars. In recent years, we have begun adapting our vehicle fleet to meet the requirements of the energy transition. We now own 4 electric cars and 6 hybrid vehicles. Our goal for the coming years is to transition to climate-friendly mobility.
Supporting Young Talent
As a practice partner of the BA Glauchau, we have been supporting aspiring civil engineers since 2017 and also contribute to the academy’s support association through an annual donation. In addition, we regularly train architectural drafters in cooperation with the Chemnitz Chamber of Industry and Commerce—to build a strong team for the future.
Solar Power System and Electric Vehicle Charging Stations
As part of the expansion of our office building, we installed 90 solar panels with a maximum output of 40 kW on a roof area of approximately 400 square meters. This allows us to achieve a high degree of energy self-sufficiency within the company and also enables us to charge our electric vehicles using the three wall boxes we’ve installed.
Social Interaction
A culture of mutual respect is an integral part of our corporate culture. Group breakfasts, team dinners, the annual beach volleyball tournament, and team nights foster team spirit and create a work environment where our employees feel comfortable.
Office Space
Our office in the historic ALROWA complex in downtown Lichtenstein combines modern workspaces with historic charm. Spanning over 1,500 m², we offer flexible, ergonomically designed offices, spacious meeting rooms, and quiet zones and break areas—all designed to foster productive work in a pleasant atmosphere.
Performance-Based Compensation and Voluntary Social Benefits
In addition to fair compensation, we offer numerous voluntary benefits—including childcare subsidies, Pluxee gift cards, and physical therapy treatments. We also actively support the health and well-being of our employees through wellness allowances and sick days.
Bicycle Parking Spaces
For employees who bike to work, we offer a secure bike garage and charging stations for e-bikes.
Social Initiatives
We support a wide range of social and cultural initiatives in our region, from donations to organizations such as Lebenshaus e.V. to funding for fire departments, sports clubs, and educational institutions.
